Sidney Turner is a highly experienced business attorney with extensive knowledge and experience in Commercial Transactions, Buying, Selling Businesses, Corporate Governance and agreements.

For more than three decades he has been a trusted advisor and advocate to creditors, entrepreneurs, franchisee, franchisors and lawyers.

Mr. Turner has a strong business and financial background. He was awarded his law degree from Fordham University in 1975. He earned his Master's of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Adelphi University after attending New York University, where he earned a B.S. in Economics.

Mr. Turner began his career as a corporate planner for Grumman Aerospace Corp. Prior to starting his own firm; he took a position as Corporate Planning and Securities Regulation Special Council for Rule Interpretation for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

Mr. Turner has for many years advised Entrepreneurs and Business Executives in their business endeavors ranging from Contractors, Hospitality, Real Estate Developers, Technology, Medical, Professional Practices and General Management.

For many years as part of his practice, Mr. Turner was a Bankruptcy Trustee in the Southern District of New York representing the interest of creditors. As an operating chapter 11 trustee appointed by the U.S. Trustees office, he operated and sold several businesses of a diverse nature, ranging from an equestrian farm to commercial real estate limited partnerships, and Hotels.

Mr. Turner also participated in a mediation program sponsored by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He has received a Certificate of Mediation Training and was appointed as a mediator by the Southern District of New York. He has been appointed a mediator in many commercial and contract cases by the U.S. District Court.

Mr. Turner is also a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrator. FINRA arbitrators are carefully selected from a broad cross-section of people, diverse in culture, profession, and background. FINRA Dispute Resolution operates the largest forum of dispute resolution for the securities industry in the United States.

Mr. Turner is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and included in their Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He is currently the Co-Chairman of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Committee. He served as Chairman of the Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association for 11 years where he instructed intensive courses in bankruptcy, creditor and debtor rights for other attorneys, paralegals, law students and business professionals. Recognizing the value of continuous professional education, Mr. Turner also served as an adjunct lecturer at New York University's School of Continuing Education.
